Pulse Guard • Pulse Home • Pulse Companion
Effective Date: March 10, 2026
YumayDev ("we," "our," or "us") develops and operates the Pulse ecosystem of applications: Pulse Guard (macOS), Pulse Home (macOS), and Pulse Companion (iOS), collectively referred to as the "Apps." We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data our Apps collect, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data.
Our Apps are designed with a privacy-first architecture. We collect minimal data and process nearly everything locally on your devices.
WiFi Signal Data: Pulse Guard and Pulse Home monitor WiFi signal strength (RSSI values) from your Mac’s built-in WiFi adapter to detect environmental changes. This data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to any server.
Bluetooth Device Data: The Apps scan for nearby Bluetooth devices to identify known and unknown devices in your environment. Device identifiers (MAC addresses) are stored locally on your device and are never shared with third parties.
Calibration Profiles: When you calibrate the Apps to learn your room’s baseline WiFi characteristics, this profile data is stored locally on your device.
iCloud Sync Data: If you use iCloud sync, certain settings, calibration profiles, and device data may be synced across your devices through your personal iCloud account. This data is encrypted by Apple and is not accessible to us.
Notification Tokens: Pulse Companion may request notification permissions to deliver security alerts. Push notification tokens are used solely for delivering alerts and are not shared with third parties.
Purchase Information: If you purchase a Pro subscription, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive, store, or have access to your payment information, credit card details, or billing address.
We do not collect personal identification information (name, email, phone number) unless you voluntarily contact us for support. We do not collect location data — geofence features operate entirely on your device using Apple’s Core Location framework. We do not collect browsing history, app usage analytics, or telemetry data. We do not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. We do not collect, store, or transmit audio, video, or camera data of any kind.
All data collected by the Apps is used exclusively for detecting environmental changes through WiFi signal analysis, identifying Bluetooth devices in your vicinity, triggering automation rules and alerts, syncing settings across your own devices via iCloud, and delivering push notifications for security alerts.
All sensor data, calibration profiles, device databases, and event logs are stored locally on your device using encrypted storage provided by macOS and iOS. If iCloud sync is enabled, data is encrypted in transit and at rest using Apple’s encryption standards. We do not operate any servers that receive, store, or process your personal data. The Pulse ecosystem is designed to function entirely offline.
The Apps may interact with the following third-party services: Apple App Store (purchase transactions), Apple iCloud (optional cloud sync), Apple Push Notification Service (security alerts), Apple HomeKit (optional smart home integration), and user-configured webhook endpoints (Pro feature). All communications with these services are managed by Apple’s frameworks or initiated directly from your device.
Our Apps are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Since we do not collect personal data on any server, there is no personal data for us to delete, export, or modify. All data resides on your devices and can be managed by you at any time. You can delete all app data by uninstalling the Apps, clear event history from within each App’s settings, disable iCloud sync through your device’s settings, and revoke notification permissions through system settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Effective Date" at the top of this document. Continued use of the Apps after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
