1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using MindType ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
MindType is a game theory-based decision-making application that:
- Provides short micro-games to analyze your decision-making patterns
- Calculates your decision archetype and cognitive bias profile
- Uses AI (Google Gemini) to generate personalized scenarios, insights, and reports
- Offers both free and premium subscription tiers
The App is intended for entertainment and educational purposes only. It is not a psychological assessment tool, clinical diagnostic instrument, or substitute for professional mental health advice.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Anonymous Accounts
MindType uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication. An anonymous account is created automatically when you first use the App. No email, password, or personal information is required.
3.2 Account Linking (Optional)
You may optionally link your anonymous account to an Apple ID or Google account for account recovery across devices.
3.3 Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and account. We are not responsible for data loss resulting from unlinked anonymous accounts.
4. AI-Generated Content
- AI-generated content is provided "as is" for entertainment and educational purposes.
- AI outputs may contain inaccuracies, generalizations, or unexpected results.
- AI-generated insights do NOT constitute professional psychological, medical, or financial advice.
- You should not make important life decisions based solely on AI-generated content from MindType.
5. Subscriptions and Payments

All payments are processed through the Apple App Store. MindType never receives your credit card or payment information. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Attempt to bypass subscription restrictions or payment systems
- Use the App for any illegal purpose
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or networks
- Attempt to access other users' data
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the App
- Exploit the AI generation system for unrelated purposes
7. Intellectual Property
MindType, its design, code, game content, and bundled materials are owned by MindType. You retain ownership of your gameplay data. AI-generated content is provided for your personal use within the App.
8. Disclaimers
MindType is an entertainment and educational application. It does NOT provide:
- Professional psychological assessment or diagnosis
- Clinical mental health advice
- Medical advice or treatment recommendations
- Financial or investment advice
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MINDTYPE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may request deletion of your data at any time.
